We are operators

Founded by experienced executives who operated in all regions globally with strong affinity to China: in recent years we mainly step into Board of Director roles, stabilise functions, and build leadership teams to make strategy executable.

Our focus starts with short‑term optimization but always aiming for long-term organisational viability — governance, recursion, and resilience are core to our approach.

How

Our method pairs strategy-first thinking with pragmatic execution. We design governance, decision rights, and operating models that carry strategy — and we step into operations when required to make them real.

Strategy before structure

Every engagement starts by clarifying where the organisation must play, how it must win, and how much complexity it must absorb. Structure follows strategy (and in special situations also people), not the other way around.

Elevator Management

We operate from boardroom to operations: governance and oversight at the board level, strategic and leadership work at executive level, and functional responsibility wherever and when necessary.

Execution by design

When needed we take interim executive roles, stabilise functions, lead execution phases and ensure strategy becomes operational reality — backed by 30+ years of international management experience in Industrial sectors with strong focus on specialty steels and other innovative materials.

Our thinking is informed by the viable system model, the cybernetic management and systems thinking, and recursive design that protects autonomy while ensuring coherence. Paired with our strong experience we enable the execution in a unique very fast and efficient way. We interpret this as MACH speed or translated from the german “machen” – we “just do it”.

我们在董事会到一线运营之间自由切换: 在董事会层面负责治理与监督,在高管层面推进战略与领导力建设,并在必要时承担具体职能责任。

以设计驱动执行

在需要时,我们将直接担任临时高管角色,稳定关键职能、主导执行阶段,确保战略转化为可持续的运营现实。 这一切,建立在我们在工业领域(尤其是高端特钢及创新材料)超过30年的国际管理经验之上。

我们的思考深受以下理论体系影响:可生存系统模型(Viable System Model), 控制论管理(Cybernetic Management, 系统思维与递归式组织设计.这些方法在保护组织自治的同时,确保整体一致性。结合我们丰富的实战经验,我们能够以极快且高效的方式推动执行。 我们将其称为 “MACH 速度” ——源自德语 machen,意为:“直接把事情做成” —> 迈科 + 致衡。

Market entry & scaling strategies, portfolio and growth strategy, translating strategy into structure, and board-level strategic sparring. Outcome: a strategy that can actually be executed.

Organisation & Governance Design

Operating model design, governance & decision architecture, role clarity and accountability, and board/executive governance. Outcome: an organisation that can carry the strategy.

Transformation & Execution

End-to-end transformation leadership, interim executive & functional roles, leadership team correction & build-up, operational stabilisation. Outcome: change that works in reality.

Board & Investor Engagement

Board of Director (BOD) mandates and advisory roles, investor alignment during transformation, and governance support in complex international contexts. Outcome: confidence at the top during high-risk phases.
